What is interim management?

Interim managers help enterprises and business fill temporary management gaps or undertake projects.

Projects are strategic or tactical, where proven skills and expertise are required.

Interim managers lead programmes, and create or extend shared services. They manage outsourcing, M&A – perform due diligence before integration. They lead restructuring; organise relocations; put in place new technology. Deleverage risk and set up regulatory systems.

CAIM is a network of skilled Chartered Accountants each with many years’ experience in business. CAIM is not a partnership, professional firm, a company, or management consultancy. CAIM is a co-operative network of FCAs creating awareness of flexible resourcing options available and facilitating the matching of available skills with business needs.

CAIM is a marketplace where skilled interim managers offer their services directly to you, their customers. When you engage one of our members you contract directly with him or her; there are no middlemen, placement fees or other overheads.

Interim managers do undertake assignments in person and are available to start at short notice.

Our interim managers integrate seamlessly with client teams. For the duration of the assignment, they take a place in your management teams and work with your staff and external parties, as would a permanent manager or employee. At the end of the assignment, the interim manager will complete any necessary handovers and exit without drama or additional costs. Our members thrive on reputation so we will always aim to deliver the agreed results on time and within budget.
