IMCA & CAIM Alliance

PRESS RELEASE: Chartered Accountant Interim Managers (CAIM) is pleased to announce the establishment of an alliance with the Institute of Management Consultants and Advisors (IMCA) which will benefit their collective group of members and the national and international companies they advise.

CAIM is a professional network of independent, self-employed financial specialists providing expertise at executive level to small and medium sized organisations. IMCA members have niche specialities that, collectively, deliver consulting and advisory services to businesses across all sectors of the Irish economy.

Speaking at an event to mark the launch, Patrick Byrne, Chairman of CAIM said: “We see this alliance as a coming together of our deep sectoral expertise in business areas that overlap with the niche focus of IMCA members.  The aim of this agreement is to promote collaboration amongst our respective membership bases; utilising the complementary skills and expertise from both sides which in turn will deliver commercial benefits for members and their clients.”

Martin Markey, President IMCA added: “The IMCA is delighted to announce a new alliance between the IMCA and the Chartered Accountant Interim Managers (CAIM). Like the IMCA, CAIM’s focus is closely aligned with the IDA for FDI projects and with Enterprise Ireland for SME mentoring and advice. There is much to be gained from IMCA and CAIM members attaining better insights into each other’s work; we are delighted with this link to the CAIM and we look forward to working with the network to develop this alliance further in the future”.

A series of joint member networking events with briefings on topical finance and economic issues and developments will ensure both member groups are delivering the highest level of expertise to their clients.
